In commemoration of 20 years of volunteers, donors, and board members serving God's Love We Deliver (GLWD), a non-profit agency that provides hot, nutritious meals to New Yorkers living with AIDS, cancer, and other serious illness, potter and designer Jonathan Adler was commissioned in 2007 to create 100 tiles to recognize exceptional contributions.
At a cocktail reception at its SoHo headquarters on Avenue of the Americas, the agency unveiled the special tiles.
Among those on hand were (in bottom picture) designer and tile recipient Harry Slatkin, board member and recipient Blaine Trump, GLWD co-chair Michael Sennott, and board member and recipient Paul Wilmot. Also on hand were actor and recipient Kyle MacLachlan, his wife, board member and recipient Desiree Gruber, and Gary Snieski, GLWD's assistant director of corporate & media relations.
Chef Pascal Segelbacher catered the evening.
