LAMBDA DEMS TO MAKE PRESIDENTIAL PICK

Lambda Independent Democrats, the 26-year-old club for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Democrats in Brooklyn, will meet Monday evening, January 26, at 7:30 p.m. to vote its endorsement in the New York presidential primary scheduled for March 2. The meeting will take place at the Old Reformed Church at 729 Carroll Street at Seventh Avenue in Park Slope.

In addition, the club is fielding candidates for delegate slates committed to five of the Democratic contenders.

To date, both of the endorsements made by New York City LGBT clubs––the Gay and Independent Democrats and the Stonewall Democrats––have been won by Howard Dean, the former Vermont government.
