It’s that time of year!
This year’s NYC Pride March will mark the 56th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, and the weeks leading up to the main event will feature a packed slate of festivities across the outer boroughs. Many of the borough-based Pride events are sprinkled throughout the month of June. Below are some of the main Pride festivals or marches in the outer boroughs:
STATEN ISLAND

Staten Island will kick things off on May 31 with the 2025 Staten Island Pride Festival at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden at 1000 Richmond Terrace.
Beginning at noon, the free celebration will feature live music, artists, craft vendors, food, activities, performers, mechanical bull rides, and more. Individuals in need of a ride from the ferry can catch a shuttle bus from the St. George Ferry Terminal to Snug Harbor. The last shuttle bus will leave at 4 p.m.
Any questions or concerns can be directed to Agatha Vassallo, the Pride Center of Staten Island’s events and operations director, at 718.808.1373 or avassallo@pridecentersi.org. Learn more at pridecentersi.org.
QUEENS

Queens Pride, which has a tradition of taking place on the first Sunday of Pride Month, will begin at noon on June 1. Marchers will proceed from 89th St. to 75th St. down 37th Ave. in Jackson Heights, where there will be a multicultural festival.
The festival will be at the intersection of 37th Rd. and 75th St. from noon to 6 p.m. Aja, Julius Caesar, and Lolita Leopard will serve as hosts. Performers include Kenny Supreme; Julian Austin; Yvonne Guiterrez and the Herencia Dancers; Nikael; Cheer New York; Robert “Silk” Mason; Antaeuz and La Santa Luz; and Austin Halls.

BROOKLYN

Next up is Brooklyn Pride, which is scheduled to take place on June 14 and is known for hosting a vibrant twilight march. The march will start at 7:30 p.m. and move along Fifth Ave. from Lincoln Place to Ninth St.
Before that, though, there is the sprawling street festival and entertainment stage, which opens up at 11 a.m. The festival is along Fifth Ave. between Union St. and Ninth St., while the entertainment stage will be perched at Fifth Ave. and Ninth St.
Brooklyn Pride is for everyone — families and dogs alike — but an area dedicated to family-oriented festivities will begin at noon in front of the Old Stone House.
Another element of Brooklyn Pride is the 5k run/walk, which begins at 10 a.m. at Bartel-Pritchard Lot in Prospect Park.

BRONX PRIDE

Pride Month continues on June 21 with Da Bronx Pride Festival from noon to 6 p.m. at the intersection of Westchester Ave. and Bergen Ave. in the Bronx. Led by Destination Tomorrow, the festival will have live performances, health resources, and more.
The Bronx Pride March, spearheaded by Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, will be held that same day. The parade kick-off is slated for 11 a.m. at 161st Street and Grand Concourse. It will conclude at Third Avenue & 149th Street. For questions about the march, contact the Bronx borough president’s office.
