Gay City News, the nation’s largest circulation news publication serving the LGBTQ community, was founded in 2002 and in the past 17 years has won dozens of editorial excellence awards from groups including the Society of Professional Journalists and the New York Press Association. The newspaper provides news, political reporting, health updates, crime coverage, and arts and entertainment reviews and listings for Greater New York’s vast and diverse LGBTQ community. The newspaper’s website, gaycitynews.com, serves not only New Yorkers but also a national and international readership.
Gay City News is helmed by the same editorial team that first launched the newspaper 17 years ago.
