In Iraq

The following members of the United States Armed Forces died during the past two weeks in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since the inception of hostilities, 1,939 members have died, 1,795 of them since President George W. Bush declared an end to major combat operations on May 1, 2003. Thus far, 14,902 service members have been wounded in action.
