HBO and the New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) is looking for the next hot Latino filmmaker. The winner will receive $15,000 in funding to produce and direct an original short narrative and the winning film will be presented on screen this summer during the New York International Latino Film Festival. Dance Performance

Refurnish the Oval Office
Downtown for Democracy will host an auction of one of a kind furniture, lighting and tabletop by U.S. furniture designers. Proceeds will benefit Downtown For Democracy’s, work to mobilize America’s creative community to support progressive candidates and defeat George Bush. Funk Songstress Performs
The Sista Factory Ensemble will feature funk songstress Martha Redbone.
