PHOTO ESSAY BY DONNA ACETO | Letitia James, a former Brooklyn city councilmember who has been the city public advocate since 2014 and is now seeking the Democratic nomination for state attorney general, hosted an LGBTQ Pride Celebration on the West Side's High Line on June 11.
The honorees were RUSA LGBT, the Russian-speaking queer group, Congregation Beit Simchat Torah Senior Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, and Peppermint, the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star who is currently appearing on Broadway in “Head Over Heals,” the Go-Gos musical.
