Grammy Hall of Fame folk icon Janis Ian performs in New York City along with special guests Livingston Taylor and Tom Chapin. Janis Ian first burst into the music scene while still a teenager in the mid-1960s. Known for her timeless hits “At Seventeen”, often featured in commercials and TV shows as an anthem for anti-bullying, “Society’s Child,” and “Fly Too High” Ian received her most recent Grammy recognition for “Patience & Sarah”, an audio book she produced and co-narrated with actress Jean Smart. Ian’s songs have been recorded by artists as diverse as John Mellencamp, Amy Grant, Diane Schuur, and Joan Baez.
Janis’ most recent solo studio album, The Light At The End Of The Line, is now available. Consisting of twelve newly-recorded tracks, among the participants are Diane Schuur, Vince Gill, John Cowan, Andrea Zonn, Randy Leago, Jim Agee, and Viktor Krauss.
